Now, the image thing is taken care of. You can click on a "Download and install" attachments button in the WP import. I'm still trying to confirm with wp.com if this is a 301 or 302 redirect. I've seen conflicting reports. 301 means you can leave the links up forever, and continue purchasing the annual domain mapping if there are a lot of older posts still linked to (ie - my link to this post). 302 means we'll have to encourage everyone to re-link and re-subscribe and then make the wp.com blog private, or delete altogether. ??This is STILL the best tutorial out there.
