Get Microsoft Silverlight

  1. I like how Microsoft’s Channel 9′s History of Microsoft in my browser says:

    Install Microsoft Silverlight

    Clicking on that says:

“Microsoft Silverlight may not be supported on your computer’s hardware or operating system. ”

Somehow, an apt metaphor. They have reinvented a technology that is already widely used, and it doesn’t work.

    Silverlight is cheese.

  3. Cheese works. I installed the plugin, even though it is not supported. Now if I visit the Silverlight page I get a popup to install CODECs and that crashes the web browser.

I’ll give them credit for making Flash look so good. :)
