Using a parody of the Microsoft/Apple TV commercials, Greenpeace sends a somber message: Clean up your act Silicon Valley.

Last month Greenpeace launched the first “Your Guide to Greener Electronics,” a report card that ranks companies on their use of harmful chemicals and the recycling of the resulting toxic waste.

Greenpeace want to inform both consumers and electronics companies about the problems caused in eliminating toxic waste, but are more concerned about the use of toxic substances in production. The report shows that Nokia and Dell lead the way in eliminating toxic chemicals from its products, followed by HP, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Sony, LG Electronics, Panasonic, Toshiba, Fujitsu-Siemens Computers, Apple and Acer.

If you want to let Steve Jobs know you want a greener Apple go here.
